Clive Staples “C.S.” Lewis
October 17th, 2006 by Nicholas Chorba
C. S. Lewis was an outstanding scholar of English Literature, author, apologist, and ardent follower of Jesus Christ. An Oxford University don (tutor) for almost three decades and a former atheist, Lewis was never a minister in the formal sense, yet he ranks among the 20th century’s most influential exponents of “mere Christianity,” the essential truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
